Rooted in African ancestral wisdom, astrology, ancient Egyptian cosmology, spiritual development and Sufism, specific bodywork, lots of music, movement, nature based ritual and ceremony, this journey explores the profound relationship between the body, the heart, the mind, and the stars.
Through the forgotten gift of ancestral prayer, daily spiritual practices, astrology classes, somatic awareness, water medicine, working with the alchemy of the Eclipses, and visits to Egypt’s temples and sacred spaces, we will listen to what lives within us, remember what has been lost, and awaken the wisdom that lives in our heart.

teacher and guide during your retreat, owner of Kalokura School of Wisdom
is an evolutionary Astrologer, ceremonial musician and a holistic healer with a rich background in ancestral and shamanic healing.
She shares her work as a mentor and facilitates rites of passage, using spiritual knowledge and mystery school teachings to bring meaning and back into our daily life in a simple, supportive and applicable way. She is devoted to the remembrance of feminine wisdom, psychosomatics and spiritual healing, but at the core of her work she is here to help you align with your Destiny, develop self-awareness and live your life with clarity and Purpose.
Her path of the last 15 years is rooted in shamanic, spiritual and African ancestral lineages.
She is a weaver of rituals rooted in nature, a teacher, and a mentor for people crossing important life transitions. Daily Somatic Movement Medicine
Throughout the pilgrimage, James will guide a progressive series of somatic movement practices designed to support the body through each stage of the initiation.
The practices will help participants settle after travel, release protective patterns and limiting identities, move emotion through the body, reconnect with instinct and sensation, and cultivate a deeper experience of safety, trust, and embodied presence.
Rather than functioning as separate movement classes, each session will respond to the energetic and emotional arc of the journey — helping the body digest what is encountered through the temples, ceremonies, teachings, and landscape.

February 4 · Arrival in Aswan
Opening the Sacred Journey
We arrive in Aswan and enter the rhythm of the South.
After settling into our accommodation, we will gather for a welcoming tea and our opening circle. This first evening offers time to meet one another, name our intentions, and gently cross the threshold into the pilgrimage.
Those who wish may visit the colourful Nubian market and taste fresh sugar cane juice, while others may choose to rest after traveling.
We close the day with a traditional Nubian dinner, live music, evening tea, and an early night.

Suggested arrival : Between 10am and 3:00 p.m (late arrivals are possible, we'll organise with you to be picked up safely from the airport).
February 5 · Back to the Roots
Remembering Where You Come From
Aquarius Moon conjunct Pluto
Our first full day begins gently, with tea, fruit, and a somatic practice to help the body settle after travel.
Visiting a sacred space in nature, we will root our intentions for the pilgrimage and reflect on the sources from which we come — the visible and invisible roots that continue to nourish our lives.
Following a big nourishing brunch, we journey by private bus toward Abu Simbel, where the monumental temples welcome us into the old kingdoms of the south of Egypt.
We then embark upon our boat on Lake Nasser to begin our passage through the waters. The evening introduces the first Mystery School transmission I : Entering the Eclipse Portal. We close with an introduction to dreams circle and share relaxing herbal tea.

February 6 · The Solar Eclipse
Receiving the Seed of the Vision
Aquarius New Moon Solar Eclipse
We greet the eclipse with sunrise meditation and a Sound Temple practice, followed by sacred Sufi Dhikr (singing prayer) for cleansing and protection.
Egyptian Blue lotus tea will be shared during the ceremony to open our field of love, clarity and intention before we continue into the day’s temple visit.
A special session of Somatic Movement Medicine will be guided to support the release of old identities, fears, attachments, and limiting stories. The afternoon is held as a space of integration through silence, deep rest, journaling, meditation, and gentle grounding as we float on the water.
As night arrives, we gather beneath the stars for meditation and an eclipse sharing circle.
This is a day of emptiness and possibility : a threshold through which the old may loosen and a new vision may begin to take root.

February 7 · Remembering Your Prophecy
Listening to the Ancient Calling

We begin at sunrise, listening to the quiet intelligence that follows the eclipse.
Movement, temple work, cacao, ancestral meditation, and astrology guide us into relationship with the deeper direction of our lives.
A special water ritual and spiritual bath invites us to listen beyond the analytical mind — to the messages carried through sensation, memory, intuition, and prophecy.
We close with dinner, sacred singing, and relaxing dream tea available.

February 8 · Reconnecting to the Mother Mind
Remembering Divine Intelligence
After a late morning quiet time to rest + integrate and nourishing brunch, This day explores intelligence as something greater than our thoughts alone. We will dive into the African concept of the Mother Mind.
Through somatic movement, astrology, embodied Mystery School practice, and our temple visits, we reconnect with the wisdom held by the body, the earth, ancestral memory, and the forgotten current of the sacred feminine within all of us (men and women alike).
Upon returning to Aswan, there will be time to rest and, depending on our arrival, enjoy the spa or a massage at the magnificent BenBen Hotel.
The evening concludes with a teaching on African and Egyptian ancestral wisdom.

February 9 · Isis’ Womb
Entering the Waters of Rebirth

At sunrise, we gather at the Isis Gate and enter the waters through a cleansing ritual of rebirth through the Osirion's mysteries.
Cacao and lotus will be shared together to open the ceremonial space inside a beautiful Salt Dome. Ancient African storytelling and sacred songs of the waters deepen our relationship with healing, ancient memory, original blueprint, and belonging.
We will share a late lunch on the beach with our local family friends before returning to movement and integration.
As darkness falls, we gather around the fire beneath the stars for Nubian storytelling, music, and celebration.
This is a day of surrender, nourishment, and return.

February 10 · From Dream to Action
Bringing Vision into the World

After breakfast, we visit the Temple of Isis and share an early lunch on the Beach before beginning our journey to Luxor.
At the villa, we settle in and watch the sun descend over the Valley of the Queens with music and special surprises for all.
Sacred singing, storytelling, and the fourth astrology transmission support our movement from vision toward action.
What has been received in dream and ritual now begins to take form.

February 11 · Aligning with Purpose
Walking Your Soul’s Path

A morning cacao ceremony opens the day, followed by Somatic Movement Medicine and a nourishing brunch.
We then visit Karnak, a vast temple complex devoted to divine order, creation, and the relationship between the human and sacred worlds.
The day asks us to consider purpose not as a role we must force, but as a path that becomes visible when we begin walking in alignment with our Soul's blueprint.
We close with a traditional Egyptian dinner, local traditional live music and dance.

February 12 · Turning Our Wounds into Medicine
The Path of the Wounded Healer

We depart early for Abydos, stopping along the way for the yummiest handmade traditional falafel.
At the temple, we enter teachings connected with death, regeneration, and the mysteries of Osiris. Hieroglyphic teachings will be offered by a special guide on site, as another doorway into the symbolic language of ancient Egypt.
After returning to Luxor, there will be time for lunch, rest, swimming in our private pool, and integration.
The evening brings together Egyptian Mystery teachings, a healing circle, and Somatic Movement Medicine devoted to emotional release and the alchemy of turning old traumatic event into Love.
We close the day with a very special event in prayer through Sufi practices and sacred Dhikr guided by a group of musician and Sufi practictioner from the Shaddylia Lineage. This day invites us to meet lingering wounds as a portal through which compassion, wisdom, and medicine may emerge.

February 13 · Embodying the Temple
Living the Mystery

Our final full day gathers the pilgrimage into the body.
Through the Embodied Astrology Temple, cacao, and Somatic Movement Medicine, we cultivate inner safety, self-worth, presence, and trust.
We then visit the Temple of Hathor—or another sacred feminine site—before sharing a final local cultural experience. We learn to carry the temple within and open for deep body care, massages, therapeutic oil anointing and spa party at the villa.
The evening closes with dinner and our completion ceremony.

February 14 · Returning Home
Carrying the Temple Within

We share a final delicious traditional breakfast and gratitude circle before saying goodbye.
As we prepare to return home, we reflect on what we are carrying forward : the relationships formed, the memories awakened, the wisdom received, and the commitments ready to be lived.

This is not part of the main trip, it is an addition for the ones who have more time available
We decided to open up an extra OPTIONAL 3 days in Cairo because some of you are coming to Egypt for the first time and don't wana miss the experience of the great Pyramids and grand egyptian museum. These 3 days I will be with you and all visits, lodging and food will be organised! but it will not be part of the original pilgrimage programme. So for those leaving after 11 days together, you won't miss any transmissions <3! Your journey will be complete after the original programme ends.
But for those who feel called to continue, the journey extends north toward Cairo.
Additional costs of an all inclusive 3 days (2 nights) + in land flight from luxor to Cairo included and organised for you : will be communicated within the coming week.

February 15 · Saqqara and the Grand Egyptian Museum

We explore Saqqara, one of Egypt’s most ancient sacred landscapes, followed by a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The day brings ancient memory into conversation with new understanding.
February 16 · Closing at the Great Pyramids

We complete the journey with a sunrise or morning meditation at Giza, followed by our final closing circle and brunch at Khufu Restaurant.
Standing before the Great Pyramids, we honor what has been completed and the future now waiting to be entered.

The Solar Eclipse Initiation
The retreat unfolds as a single initiatory arc.
This Retreat is truly unique because of the way Astrology is woven through the experience by Maïlé Kalokura, a professional Evolutionnary Astrologer and shamanic practitioner with + 12 years of practice.
For us to remember how to properly align with the natural rythms and with the cosmic cycles. Moving from African ancestral Wisdom to Spiritual alignement to Embodied Astrology !

The solar eclipse opens a threshold between what has been and what is becoming. In our first workshop you will learn the foundation of Astrology and the movements of times and Era through a shamanic and evolutionary perspective. We will explore the transition of the age of Pisces to the age of Aquarius and in what ways this may personally impacts us and what this exceptional Aquarian Eclipse is here to awaken.
Through astrology, ritual, meditation, somatic release, and time beneath the open sky, we will explore what is ending, what is waiting to be released, and what new seed of possibility is ready to enter consciousness.
This is the beginning of the passage : an invitation to surrender familiar identities and become receptive to a new vision.

Awakening to the Prophecy within
The inner path of initiation
Within the 3 days following an Eclipse, nothing makes much sense yet. As I continue to share foundational Astrology teachings, you will be guided into a space of receptivity and surrender to start to find a stronger alignement and trust with your Soul's unique design. We will look into the blueprint of your birth chart and learn to read the markers of Destiny + how may this eclipse impact you personally.
We will link this day to the African understanding of the ORI ( our spiritual head containing our entire path, potential and inner prophecy)

Embodied Astrology
Living the natal chart beyond interpretation.
Reflecting on your life, your choices, your past experiences and discovering your natural talents, the medicine behind the wounds and the Divine purpose woven through each single life experience you ever had.
We will listen for how the planets live through sensation, instinct, emotion, movement, relationship, and place — allowing the body to become an instrument of astrological understanding ("as above so below"). And we will continue on the teachings of the previous day, taking time for personal questions.

Walking Your Prophecy
Carrying your vision into the world & Conscious Networking
Through this transmission we start to perceive how to apply our vision for the next chapter of our life. We will open a space of Conscious Networking to listen to the call of our brothers and sisters and think collectively how to take positive actions into the world.
Now we start to envison how our unique gifts in this life could be of service to something greater than ourselves! We start to understand the mystical teachings behind the archetype of Aquarius and how the next step of evolution must be in the highest expression of this zodiac sign if we want to grow as a whole. From destruction to creation.

Embodied Astrology Temple
This last Astrology workshop is a completion ceremony. We will ask how our insights can become aligned action, how through remembrance we can participate to a better future, and how the medicine received through the journey might be carried home.
The purpose is not to leave Egypt with a perfected answer nor a complete understanding, but to return with a clearer relationship to your direction, your gifts, and the way Life wants to be lived through you.
